I prefer "Rural Texas". The discrepancy between "Texas" and "South" is quite significant, and I feel that "Rural South" leads me to suspect that the piece is nostalgic for Faulkner. That's just my two-cents, and pennies don't go a long ways anymore.

It's definitely a big difference, and South has so many evocations of Faulkner and O'Connor that won't be met by this film that I think there's no way to go but with Texas. My mind's made up!
