So I Finally Saw Juno

If a movie I didn't really like makes me cry as much as this one did, does that mean that I actually liked it?

Your reasons for disliking it and the reasons it made you cry are probably very different, I imagine. The question is really whether or not the film was good despite your disliking of it, or bad despite making you cry.

We need to write another series of e-mails, I think. I can start at any time, such is my rather non-committal existence; you start whenever you're ready, which is to say, when something you'd like to think/talk/write through comes up.

Ha ha, I felt the same way! I sniffled throughout the entire thing, but my overall satisfaction of the film is pretty low (what 16-year-old talks like that!?).

I didn't buy word one of this eyeroller, but dammit I cried, too. A lot. Humans having babies, what can I say? It stirs my cockles. Likable actors helped.

I can't watch any film now with a Labor and Delivery scene without an ocean raining from my eyes since having Chaylie Grace!! All the pregnancy jokes make me laugh so hard!!! I thought the film was witty, cleverly written and just plain charming! One of the best films I have seen in a LONG time! Very emotionally satisfying! ;-)

Yep, it's called biology.

Surest way to conjure tears.
