Criterion has a habit of hinting at their upcoming releases via mildly tantalizing cartoons. Two that have my anticipation particularly piqued...

I'm assuming it is (and is reason enough to hope that they migh appropriate Malick's whole catalog?).
The second one...well, I won't give it away, but fot those who can figure it out, it's going to be a doozy. I think it comes out next week, actually.
Speaking of being sixty dollars poorer...the third season of Deadwood just showed up on my doorstep. There goes the weekend.
